The idea behind beam was to create a modern, technology-driven company that will provide easy to use mortgage services to people from all walks of life.
The branding that we were tasked to do by Stingray Labs, needed to encompass that and differentiate this new startup from its competitors. It needed to be bold, to the point but friendly and professional.

The logotype is all about simple geometrical typography. The lack of defined symbol leaves all future possibilities open to grow, evolve and create partnerships.
The primary logotype uses colour gradient, intended to be dynamically animated with individual colours constantly shifting. This symbolises changing life circumstances while the container of the lettering reflects underlying premise and quality of service.

The brand pictogram is extracted from the logotype typography and can be used in placements that does not allow for a full logotype. It can be used in colour, monochrome or placed on a gradient roundel.
The colour palette originates from the gradient that represents the plethora of circumstances that our clients are facing. The light tones soften the overall serious subject making the brand feel more approachable and supportive. The resulting four main colours can be used as interface and interaction accents. Finally, additional dark tones are added to provide required contrast for any messaging.

The imagery uses a decisive portrait style in order to interact with the viewer and strike a cord. It is supported by single line drawing illustration that allows for creating variety of narratives in a fast and simple way without the need of costly photoshoots or time consuming image-bank searches.
